Cathy Morrow Roberson started her career as a librarian – From managing reference and special collections, to storytimes to managing a branch library, and yes, even driving the bookmobile, Cathy worked in several libraries in South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia.
The business world beckoned and as such, Cathy accepted a position in an internet consulting firm conducting market research and usability studies.
The lights were ultimately turned out for good at the consulting firm due to lack of funding and Cathy found herself at UPS.
Cathy spent eleven years at UPS, primarily at the Supply Chain Solutions subsidiary where she was responsible for competitive and market analysis, assisted with m&a due diligence and new product development. In the final years, Cathy gained valuable experience in freight forwarding operations working as part of a support team for a large UPS customer.
After UPS, Cathy worked for a UK-based logistics research firm for almost five years and then struck out on her own by establishing Logistics Trends & Insights in 2015.
